New to Zoom? What a great time to jump in and try something new! Is it safe? (see under Critical Information below.)

Watch this tutorial for a video demo on how to join a meeting. Plan to pause it, and click it to be a wide screen, (bottom right corner icon), to open a new window, and follow at your pace.

Step 1. – go to HERE to fill in your name, email, and which date/time of BeMoved or Gentle BeMoved you want to take. Address, and phone # are required for snail mailing a check for payment.

Step 2. – Pay on paypal for the Spring Series amount, Drop-In amount, or as always, email me to do a pro-rated amount if you won’t be able to take only some scheduled classes in the Series. Locals, email to send a check snail mail if needed.

Step 3. – Half hour or sooner before class you will see an access link via email. If it’s getting close and you don’t see an email, check your spam. Contact me if you still don’t see it. Log on 10 minutes before class as odd times allow people to log on faster on zoom due to high volumes of humans doing so on the hour all over the world.

Step 4. – Take an amazing class, interacting with me, and others in your dance community. Raise your vibration, re-set your mood, calm our mind, and clear your vision to BeMoved!

#2 Zoom is connecting the whole wide world right now. I have found that it is better to start at an odd time, like 5 minutes after the hour, to have fewer competing sessions trying to join at the same time as us. That’s why my  time suggestions to log on are odd. 

#3 I never record a class. It’s against copyright anyways.

#4. I know that anxiety is HIGH right now, and for some of us, the thought/pressure of new technology ADDS to the anxiety. I promise you can do it, and it will open up a whole new great practice for you 🙂 EMAIL me for one-on-one assistance with navigating Zoom. It’s really life-changing.

#5 Email me if you are missing the access link or if you have any questions at all – I will work with you to figure it out!

#6 You can come into the meeting late or leave early – you mute yourself or I mute everyone, and no one will notice or hear you come or go – it’s easy to fit this into your day.

Do I need to download Zoom to join a meeting?

You do not have to have a Zoom account to attend a Zoom meeting, and it is FREE to join a meeting. You will be prompted to download the software only, once you have clicked on the link that you have been provided. You may also wish to create an account, but that is not required to participate in a Zoom meeting. You can then trash it after every meeting.

Do you need a webcam for zoom?

To use Zoom you will need: a video camera, either built into your device or a separate webcam (most modern computers, smartphones and tablets have this built in). Zoom has clients for Windows, Mac, iOS and Android.
